Mental Training

As a certified mental trainer with a professional background as a singer, I combine artistic experience with evidence-based mental training methods. I support people who regularly perform or present — including singers, musicians, speakers, and students — in strengthening their mental resilience, refining their performance skills, and approaching important moments with clarity and confidence.

Mental training provides practical tools to enhance focus, motivation, authentic self-confidence, and inner stability, while learning to work constructively with pressure in demanding situations.

Whether you are preparing for a concert, audition, entrance exam, or important presentation, mental training helps you step onto the stage — or into the room — with presence, concentration, and expressive freedom.

The goal is to develop an optimal mental state for performance: a state of clarity, focus, and inner balance that allows you to be fully present and connected to what you are doing, so that confidence, authenticity, and joy can become a natural part of your performance.

  • Mental Training for People Who Perform or Present, including:

    • Singers and instrumentalists

    • Actors

    • Speakers and presenters

    • Teachers

    • Students (e.g. in exams or presentations)

    • Anyone preparing for auditions, competitions, or important performances

Mental training supports you in developing and applying your abilities in performance, exam, and presentation situations. When we perform or present in front of others, success depends not only on preparation but also on mental clarity, focus, self-confidence, and the ability to work constructively with pressure.

In these situations, success depends not only on preparation, but also on mental clarity, focus, and inner stability.

In my mental training sessions, we work with three central levers of mental work: physiology, focus, and language — the body, our attention, and our inner voice.

By learning to regulate the body, direct attention intentionally, and shape a supportive inner voice, you develop greater clarity, presence, and inner stability in key moments.

Techniques such as visualization, attentional focus, breathing, and mental preparation help you reliably access your potential when it matters most.

In my work, I combine mental training methods with my many years of professional stage experience as a singer, as well as a holistic learning and teaching approach based on principles of accelerated learning. This creates a practical and integrated approach that supports you not only in learning, practicing, and memorizing, but also in performances, presentations, auditions, and exams.

The goal is to develop an optimal mental state for performance and presentation situations — a state of focus, presence, and inner stability that allows you to perform with confidence, calmness, and joy, and to fully express your potential.

    Please note:

Mental training is intended for people who wish to strengthen their mental resilience and performance abilities. It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment.

If you are experiencing mental health conditions or other health concerns, it is recommended that you seek appropriate medical or therapeutic support.

My work is designed to support the development of mental skills and help people navigate performance, exam, and presentation situations with greater clarity and confidence.

    • Perform and present with more confidence: Learn to manage performance anxiety and feel more confident on stage through mental techniques such as visualization and breathing exercises.

    • Increase stage presence: Present yourself more convincingly and build a stronger connection with your audience.

    • Improve concentration: Use targeted exercises to enhance focus during practice and performance.

    • Strengthen self-confidence: Believe in your abilities and overcome self-doubt.

    • Manage stress: Handle stressful situations more effectively — whether during rehearsals, performances, or when dealing with the pressures of the music world.

  • A typical mental coaching process begins with an in-depth conversation to understand your personal goals and challenges.
Based on this, I create a tailored coaching program that may include various mental techniques, visualization exercises, breathing techniques, and relaxation methods.

Sessions can take place in person (in Oberpuchenau, Austria) or online, and are usually held at regular intervals to track progress and adjust the coaching accordingly.
